Our Proposal

Our Constitutional Republic has been destructed by the powers that be a long time ago. The Federal Government is on a massive power grab that is putting us, and the nation in further peril. Our freedoms and liberties are being lost in the name of "national security", the fruits of our labor continue to be taken in the name of taxes, our economy is in shambles. We have had enough, but what is our best course of action? With each protest, and each movement, we continue to see the Federal Goverment turn a blind eye and ignore our every word. Our elected officials talk the talk during election, but when in Washington are pursuaded by the power and the lobbyists.

 

Our two party system has continued to fail us as well. When the Democrats are in power they are violating our Constitution, spending money to no end, and continuing their power grab. During this time the Republicans are crying foul and promising they will change things and bring us back to our founding principles. But when the power changes, they too turn a blind eye to their words and continue the same power grab that the Democrats were doing. Our elected officials have turned our government into nothing more than a power grabs game at our expense! We have had enough!

 

The time has come for us as patriotic Confederate Americans to excercise the rights given to us in our first Declaration of Independence; "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.--That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, --That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness..."

 

Our goal is to simply end the occupation of the Confederate States of America. We must act on both on the state and federal level and start over as our Founders intended. But why the state governments as well? The reason is simple, our current state governments were illegally, and illegitimately put into place by the United States government who forced out our rightfully elected officials at gunpoint. Since our occupation, our state governments have bowed to the might of the United States government. They have allowed unconstitutional laws passed within their borders, they have allowed federal agencies to operate within our state borders and continually harrass and jail our citizens based on outrageous laws and regulations. It is time to reverse these violations and return the Southern Confederacy to a nation as envisioned by our founders where we can all enjoy Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.

The war was one in which fundamental principles were involved; as force decides no truth, the issue is still undetermined, as has been already shown. We have laid aside our swords; we have ceased our hostility; we have conceded the physical strength of the Northern states. But the question still lives, and all nations and peoples that adopt a confederated agent of government will become champions of our cause. While contemplating the Northern states—with their federal Constitution gone, ruthlessly destroyed under the tyrant’s plea of “necessity,” their state sovereignty made a byword, and their people absorbed in an aggregated mass, no longer, as their father’s left them, protected by reserved rights against usurpation—the question naturally arises: on which side was the victory? Let the verdict of mankind decide." - Jefferson Davis 1881
