Our History

In this section of our website we aim to provide you all with the true history of the Confederate States of America. Unfortunately today, we are faced with continued misteachings of our children, false depictions by the media, and slander of our history and heritage. Shamefully many buy into the propoganda and forget that the victors in any war will re-write the history to vindicate their cause. They have done so at the expense of Confederate Americans. For those of you who are newly researching the truth we hope this section of our page will be an eye opener for you.

Much of the historical information here is being presented after years of research by the John K. McNeill SCV Camp #674.

The Charge to the Sons of Confederate Veterans given by Lt. General Stephen Dill Lee, CSA, Commander General of the United Confederate Veterans 1906:

"To you, Sons of Confederate Veterans, we submit the vindication of the Cause for which we fought; to your strength will be given the defense of the Confederate soldier's good name, the guardianship of his history, the emulation of his virtues, the perpetuation of those principles he loved and which made him glorious and which you also cherish. Remember it is your duty to see that the true history of the South is presented to future generations".
