End The Occupation
In 1861 our nation was invaded. For the next four years we were engaged in war to defend our homes, as well as our freedoms.
Overwhelmed by 1865, our armies were forced to surrender, many of our men were dead or wounded, and our economy was in shambles. Since this time, our nation has suffered and has become the ridicule of the United States. We must play by different rules, many of our states are in poverty with no end in sight. The beginning of our occupation marked the end of constitutional government. From 1865 onward the United States government began a gradual process of turning our government from the limited, constitutional form our founders fought for, to a centralized dicatorship that continues to regulate every aspect of our lives.
Ending the occupation of the Confederate States of America will allow us to start anew. We will be able to build up a nation as our founders envisioned. The Constitution will once again reign as law of the land with new safeguards in place so that the tyranny in place today will not be able to take place again. Confederate Americans will be able to once again live free as our ancestors did, and will be able to persue their destiny in a nation full of good jobs, a higher standard of living, and most importantly without restricting every aspect of their lives.
Our elected officials will once again work for the people. We will outlaw the lobbying that special interest groups do today. Our officials will not be bought to vote, but will vote on the good and moral character that is expected of them. Our country will no longer be run by giant corporations who wish to control everything from our oil to our food, to our politicians. We will allow small business, the backbone of our economy, to thrive and prosper.
We seek for the Confederate States of America to become an example to the world of what a truly free and prosperous society is.
